Gregory Kallenberg is the founder and executive director of the Prize Foundation. Founded in 2012 with the award-winning Louisiana Film Prize, the foundation has grown to include the Startup, Food, and Music Prizes (all the brainchild of Kallenberg) in addition to Film Prize Junior and Comedy Prize as well as the beloved Taco Wars event each spring. His background includes event organizing, filmmaking, investment consulting, and philanthropy. Kallenberg was named the 2019 Champion of Culture by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities. He currently serves on the SXSW Interactive Executive Advisory Board in Austin, the Artspace board in Shreveport, Louisiana and is a Junior Achievement Laureate in their Business Hall of Fame. Most recently, Kallenberg was named 2024’s Business Person of the Year by the Bossier City Chamber of Commerce.
