In this episode, we discuss going to therapy for the first time and how it can be a daunting experience for many people. However, it is important to remember that therapy is a safe and confidential space where you can explore and understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.  One of the key benefits of therapy is that it can help you to identify the root causes of your issues and develop coping strategies to manage them. It can also help you to work through past traumas and build resilience to deal with future challenges.  

Some key words to remember when going to therapy for the first time are:  Safety, Confidentiality, Exploration, Understanding Identification Coping strategies, Resilience, Trauma, and Future challenges. It's important to remember that therapy is a process, and it may take time to see progress. But with the right therapist and a willingness to engage in the process, it can be a powerful tool for personal growth and change.
