What if the stretching you're experiencing isn't punishment—it's preparation for the pouring?
This week, we're diving deep into the story of the widow's oil and asking ourselves some hard questions: Where is God stretching our faith right now? What are we making room for Him to fill?
Here's what I'm learning: God fills what we make room for. The widow didn't just collect a few jars—she went to ALL her neighbors. She made physical space in her home and spiritual space in her heart by shutting the door on negative voices.
And here's the beautiful part: she was stretched before the overflow came.
Maybe you're feeling stretched right now in your finances, your time, your capacity. Maybe God is asking you to do something that sounds absolutely crazy. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and invite His presence into that tension.
Your stretching is preparation for your pouring.
What do you have in your house? What resource is God asking you to trust Him with? Because what seems like little or nothing in our hands becomes something great in God's hands.
