In this episode, Devin is joined by NBC 7 Story Producer Angela Kurysh. The two take a deep dive into their journalism careers, and look at how they got to where they are now, advice for journalists breaking into the field, and where they see themselves in the future. Plus, we talk about the ongoing war in Ukraine, Angela's Op-Ed in The San Diego Union-Tribune, and how the war has taken on personal meaning for her. The two also discuss the Supreme Court's monumental decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, and the importance at which the media has in providing quality reporting in those moments. 

Angela Kurysh is a Story Producer for NBC 7 San Diego. Her journalism career has taken her from covering elections and making video packages in college, to now helping put together the morning shows for NBC 7 News at 4:30, 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. Before joining NBC 7, Angela also spent time as a Multimedia Editor for The Daily Aztec, San Diego State's student newspaper, a freelance writer for East County Times and as a writer for One America News.
