This Fall we’ve focused on the commands of Jesus because disciples of Christ do what he says. Multiple times Jesus tells his disciples to wait for him and to be prepared for when he returns. Over Advent season this month, we’ll start with Jesus’ first coming this Sunday before looking ahead in the prophetic calendar to his return and what happens after that. Jesus gave us clues to his return, but these clues had a much bigger purpose than just helping us calculate the date. We’ll talk about it over the next few Sundays.
