Our mission at CityView Church is to point people to Jesus Christ.
Why does CityView Church exist and why are we called “CityView” when we’re in the ‘burbs? Its intentional. After merging and acquiring our building, we felt we needed a fresh start. We wanted a name that acknowledged the history of our building but also got us looking upward and outward.
When we hear the name “CityView Church” we want our hearts broken for the people around us who need the gospel and we want to live our lives for that which will last forever. God has given us a building that is easily accessible to all of Loudoun County, a place in which only 4% of the population is in a church on any given Sunday. He’s given us a building with room to grow. So where do we begin? We’ll look to 1 Peter 2 for some help.
