DISCUSSION & REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
Why do you think the disciples didn’t believe something that Jesus had repeatedly told them about (i.e. his death and resurrection)?
The first witnesses of Jesus’ resurrection — with both their eyes (they witnessed or saw it) and their words (they witnessed or testified to it) — were women. In the ancient world, women weren’t considered credible witnesses. What are your thoughts about this important detail of the resurrection story?
How does the resurrection change everything for followers of Jesus?
What does it mean to live a resurrection life?
How do you experience and understand the Holy Spirit’s presence in your life?
What confuses you about the Holy Spirit? Who can you talk to about this to learn more? (Read Romans 8 for some helpful truth about the Spirit.)
