Kia ora! In this episode I’m talking languages. Four of them. Three official and one teaser. I dive into the history of our three official languages English, New Zealand Sign Language and Māori and even try to break down the building blocks of Te Reo Māori and give you some tips on pronunciation in a very musical way.
I give you the most terrifying and crazy news from NZ that I found this week and tell you a bit about how my week went. Spoiler: Average.
Thanks to this weeks Julz Gems: Colin, Lieren, Joe and Jeff. I don't know what I'd do without your support.
Hit me up with any questions you have about NZ (or me) and I'll do my best to give it to you "raw and wriggling" as that's how we do it here in NZ. No edits and loose AF. I'm here for the good times so hopefully you find it's good too. Aroha nui. Ka kite anō. Xx
Find me on Instagram and Twitter and Facebook as well! Or go check out my website!
As always, here's the links I used to help me put this together, so that you can read more if you want. This one, and this one about the Maori Language decline and revival. This one is Cray Cray Frank and this is about the Nestle Fear.
