I believe therapy is a gift everybody can give themselves. We all deal with a level of childhood trauma that ultimately affects how we presently think, feel and handle emotions during specific situations and triggers. When I started going to therapy two years ago I was struggling with anxiety daily/every other day, severe mood swings and disassociation that would take me out for the day. Because of talk therapy, I can confidently intellectualize my triggers, thoughts and choices which feels super empowering. The only problem? My inability to feel deep emotion which talk therapy wasn't able to help me with, which I explain more in the episode. So sit back, relax and join me as I go into detail about the next steps in my mental health journey..
If you have any questions on my experience or why I've decided to stop therapy, feel free to shoot me a message on instagram here!
