In this episode, we pay tribute to a truly remarkable individual, Wade Walters. Wade was a dedicated police officer, an eccentric father (think Red Forman from That '70s Show and That '90s Show), and was greatly loved by his community.
Wade's commitment to his work as a police officer was unwavering, and he was deeply respected by his fellow officers and the citizens he served. As a father, he was playful and imaginative, always finding creative ways to connect with his children and instill a sense of wonder and curiosity in them, while also instilling discipline and respect. His son Nick, is actually one of my best friends and is in Relic Hearts with me.
Sadly, Wade passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of love and service that touched countless lives. In this episode, Wade shares stories and memories, in hindsight, I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Wade's life and the impact he had on the world around him.
We also explore the idea of collaboration in the context of law enforcement and community-building, discussing how Wade's approach to his work and his relationships with others embodied the spirit of collaboration and cooperation.
Whether you knew Wade personally or simply want to hear inspiring stories of courage, dedication, and love, this episode is sure to touch your heart and leave your spirit feeling elevated. So tune in, join us in celebrating Wade Walters, and discover the power of collaboration in building strong, vibrant communities.
