Description

This week on the pod it's open water swimmer Alice Dearing!

Alice swims the 10km distance and is gunning for a spot at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics where she could be the first black female to represent Team GB in the pool. We get the scoop on open water swimming, the demands of the sport and Alice's journey to get to where she is now. Outside the water, Alice co-founded the Black Swimming Association which is an organisation that aims to get more ethnic minorities of all ages swimming and we discuss the barriers that POC face and what we can do to help drive participation forward.

Alice is inspiring, passionate and at just 23 is using her platform to change the world.
