Description

On this episode of the Women Who Sport podcast, we speak to Eilidh Gibson - British and Scottish canoe slalom athlete! As an athlete Eilidh experienced early success in her career before bumping into a severe shoulder injury which closed the door on her Tokyo Olympic ambitions. In her time out however, she discovered what sport can mean beyond medals through her initiative Slalom Inspires which won the national Social Impact Award - how frickin' cool!

Eilidh shares her experiences with injury, the ongoing battle with her love of canoeing and she epitomises how one person can make a difference in the women's sport landscape.  Beyond that she is honest, humble, kind and passionate about making a difference in the world around her. Listen and be inspired!
