She was the primary caregiver to her mother who battled breast cancer twice over 12 years. Her mother ultimately passed away from metastatic breast cancer in August of 2017. She is currently working to launch a non-profit organization called Grief Help Club to support people grieving the loss of their mother to cancer. Ebony is a multi-passionate entrepreneur. She's pursuing her creative passion by operating an Etsy shop Crafty Geeky Sassy.
