Listener, you have all spoken and we have listened: more scams on Nonsense! In this episode, the boys talk about generalities around crypto scams and specifics around rug pulls. While there are plenty of scams floated your way on the daily -- from “crypto investment opportunities” to “FREE CRYPTO GIVEAWAYS” -- we have found the class of scams known as ”rug pulls” to be some of the absolute worst.
From the Cryptoqueen’s $4 billion walkoff to Thodex’s $2 billion USB key that (supposedly) lives at the bottom Ionian Sea now, these rug pulls are nothing if not brazen. Fortunately, some mild justice has been dolled out so far, but plenty of these criminals have yet to pay the price.
