AFFIRMATION:
I am the boss, yes it's true,
Of each thought that I think, old or new.
My thoughts aren't me, they’re a part of my mind,
I can choose the ones I want, and leave the rest behind.
A thought may come, a thought may go,
Some are high and some are low.
Some are green and some are blue.
Some are false, and some are true.
I choose the thoughts that come to play,
Some I invite, some I shoo away.
A thought can be fun, a thought can cut too.
But I am not my thoughts, I thought you knew.
My thoughts and I, we're not the same,
"Thought-Boss" might as well be my name.
I choose my thoughts, each and every day,
And surely, that's the Jennifer way.
