Ben Bernthal is a poet, songwriter, and English as a Foreign Language teacher. He is the founder of Strangers’ Poems Project and the future founder of Alchemy English. He travels around the world using street performance as a way to connect with others, share his art, and make a living. He has taught English at Kindai University in Osaka, Japan, and at language centers in Indianapolis, Indiana and Portland, Oregon. He has toured the midwest and East coast with his musical projects (Memory Foam, Accordions), and written poetry for people in national parks and on street corners throughout the country.
