In this episode of the Long Covid Hope podcast, Sarah speaks to Dave in San Diego, USA, about his Long Covid journey from bedbound to planning to hike the Pacific Crest Trail - yes, all of it! In this interview, Dave shares his experiences of his acute and Long Covid phases of illness, and how audio books and the Long Covid open Zoom Room helped him in the early days of Long Covid. We go on to discuss how Dave believes that Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), the chicken soup diet, fasting and cleanses helped him to recover his health. He is keen to stress that when he got well, it happened suddenly and quite dramatically, after over two years of Long Covid.
