Description

Lake Lanier is the largest lake in Georgia with over 600 miles of shore that borders 5 counties. It was  built in 1957 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer, and since the lake’s opening, an estimated 675 people have died in the lake and not all of the bodies have been found. It took around 5 years to fill the lake, and during that time the U.S. government bought more than 50,000 acres of farmland, displacing more than 250 families, 15 businesses, and relocated 20 cemeteries along with their corpses in the process. The lake is literally full of dead bodies. So to the 7 million people who visit it every year... why? Join us for a little look into the Lake Lanier ghosts, as well as a couple of other ghost stories from Georgia in this episode of grim.!

Stay safe out there.

With love, Saaniya and Maddie x
