Description

The Loudun Possessions were a notorious witchcraft trial in Loudun, France in 1634. In Loudun, a convent of Ursuline nuns said they had been “visited” and possessed by demons. The Catholic Church investigated this alleged possession and concluded that a priest called Father Urbain Grandier was eventually convicted of the crime of sorcery and was burned at the stake. Join us as we give you a brief history of France in the late 1500s as well as a little insight into the psychology of possession!

Stay safe out there.
