For some this is no big deal but to a BLACK WOMAN who has always been told to protect your hair from getting wet...this is a HUGE DEAL!!. I now feel FREE having locs that need very little everyday styling and maintenance to just swim like a mermaid not worrying about what my hair will look like after I emerge from the water.
