As Martin Scorsese has said numerous times, cinema is in danger of going extinct. Whether or not he is right is a question up for debate with constant sequels, reboots and adaptations of plays or books that feel flat as opposed to the source material, its hard to find something original and groundbreaking nowadays. While not everything out right now fits this category it is hard to find those precious film diamonds in the rough.
