Longing for a better life a pretty standard dream for most, but dreaming is a lot easier than reality. Following multiple stories of Dinky and friends trying to escape the island they live on, the drug addiction and trauma of Birdboy, and the overarching theme of pollution and nuclear war rolled up into a brisk 70 minute runtime. With a very unique art style and direction of story telling, this is a film that will fly under the radar for most (pun intended) but is one to check out even if you feel like there should be a little bit more to it but hey, "maybe this is just my place, forever" then to rave about.
