When you start a franchise it is important to captivate the audience by giving just enough but still wanting more. Unfortunately, it seems like we got everything from this one. When Eragon stumbles upon a dragon egg he is plunged into a war of dragon riders and forced to become the chosen to save the city from the evil rule of Galbatorix. A decent CGI dragon and okay world building is not enough to save this film from the overzealousness putting the hope of everything into a second film that we never got. We promise there are better dragon films to come this month and you would have to be "1 part brave, 3 parts fool" to think otherwise.
