How would you feel if your favorite show got cancelled but a movie was made to continue it, only to find out that its a prequel? This is what happens with this film as you are brought to a new town to solve a murder only for 15 minutes in to be met with the beloved special agent Dale Cooper, then to switch it up again and have most of the movie follow Laura Palmer and her eventual journey of supernatural death. While this film does give you a new insight into the character that in the show is just talked about, unless you are a fan of Twin Peaks this is a difficult film to get through. If you are a fan then this is a fun send off to the series until the 3rd season and that keeps us waiting patiently for Bob to show up at the end of our bed and scream "fire walk with me".
