For the past 11 years, she’s traveled throughout the United States and international, locating and documenting African American historical sites. She’s experienced over 50 slave plantations, slept in 15 slave cabins, located African American cemeteries and slave cemeteries. Her mission is to raise the awareness of African American History because our history is more than 28 days, it’s EVERYDAY.
