Hello ladies, it's your favorite midlife podcast doc here, ready to talk about something that's been weighing on my mind lately: hustle culture. You know, that idea that we should be working harder, faster, and longer hours than ever before, all in the name of success and productivity.

Well, I'm here to tell you that hustle culture can take a hike, because it's doing more harm than good. As women in midlife, we've got a lot going on already. Maybe we're caring for aging parents, dealing with kids who are leaving the nest, or juggling a demanding career. The last thing we need is to add more stress and pressure to our already busy lives.

And let's be real, the idea of "having it all" is a myth. We can't do everything, and even MORE IMPORTANT we shouldn't have to. It's time to cancel the hustle culture before it cancels us first.

Because here's the thing: the constant hustle can lead to burnout, fatigue, and even physical health problems. We need to take care of ourselves, and that means slowing down and taking breaks when we need them. We're not robots, after all!

Plus, when we're constantly hustling, we're missing out on other things that are important to us. Maybe we want to travel, learn a new skill, or spend more time with loved ones. When we're always working, we don't have the time or energy to pursue those things.

So, let's take a stand against hustle culture. Let's prioritize our health, our happiness, and our passions. And let's do it all with a sense of humor, because let's face it, laughter is the best medicine.

So, to all my fellow midlife women out there: let's cancel the hustle culture before it cancels us first. It's time to slow down, savor life, and enjoy all the good things that come with this stage of life. Thanks for listening, and I'll catch you next time!
