With no particular topic bubbling up for us this week, this is a review of a few of our favorite verses (which admittedly feels a bit like deciding between fresh Maine lobster or a perfect medium rare Wagyu filet. You can't go wrong either way.) We start with surveying the context of Matthew 10:50 and how a blind beggar leaving his cloak is a huge statement of his love of Jesus. Next we talked about Psalm 37:23-24, a beautiful verse that highlights the absolutely magnificent heart of God who delights in every detail of our lives. Finally, in Exodus 36:2, we look at how the one man whom God anointed and gifted to build the famed Ark of the Covenant chose to follow the crowd rather than the cloud. It's a lesson to us that we can't camp out around our past accomplishments when God calls us to be bold, trust Him, and move into His promise. Thank you for watching.
