February 1946, in the town of Texarkana, an unknown assailant wearing a sack with holes cut out for eyes and mouth terrorized unsuspected residents. Once the moon rose, the bordering area between Texas and Arkansas would become his personal hunting ground. Within only a few months, the masked killer brutally murdered five people. Three of them escaped his homicidal clutches to tell their stories. The events that transpired would change the town and its reputation, making it forever known as The Town that Dreaded Sundown.
