April 8th, 2009 was a big day for Tori, for a few reasons. The family had recently moved into a new home, and to celebrate Tori was allowed to have friends over for a movie night. But perhaps one of the most exciting items on the agenda for the day was that Tori was taking a large step into independence, and for the first time, she was going to walk home from school by herself without her brother Daryn accompanying her.
What followed would be a parent's worst nightmare...
