There is a piece of humanity that is in heaven at the right hand of God. The Ascension invites us to look out and investigate Jesus' convincing proofs of the resurrection (Acts 1:13). We are invited to look up and see God's perspective (Acts 1:9). He has ascended and is reigning for his glory and our good. He is praying for you. Jesus invites us to look in and discover that he is Immanuel, God with us, present by the power of his Father's promise, the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:4-8, 9-11).
