In this sermon, we notice that Paul changes his tone from themes of glory and love to utter sorrow and concern. Why? Because the Jews are largely rejecting the gospel of their own Messiah. Here in Romans 9 - 11, Paul will undergo an extended discussion on why the Jews have not received the Messiah in large numbers. Ultimately, there is hope... a revival will come soon enough!
