This week, #TheSquad™ is yammering on about one of (if not THE) biggest topics for the past year... The #BlackLivesMatter Movement. The panel discusses how this revolution impacts us all, even people that claim to be "far removed" from the actual front lines of the protests.
Can non-BIPOC individuals ever understand the full scope of what #BLM truly means? Or how deep the scars of the past can be?
What does it take to be an ally? How can we properly support our Black and Indigenous People of Color?
It's an extremely triggering subject and we know we can't even scratch the surface on everything that needs to be said... But we can only start to understand and change by having conversations and listening to each other. So that's what we are trying to begin this week!
