2 Corinthians 2:5-11 gives instructions to the Corinthian church to forgive a man in their congregation who was grieved over sin he had committed. Church discipline is not an easy practice to follow. Many leaders struggle to confront sin. Some fellowships are willing to confront sin but do so out of being offended by someone's sin rather than seeking that person's restoration to Christ.
