This episode continues the study of Paul's final instructions to the Ephesian elders. Paul concludes his exhortation to them with a reminder about his example to them in work ethic and attitude towards money. False religion has been one of the most profitable trades throughout history, and within the church from its early days, false teachers have sought material gains through the gospel.
