Recorded for Impact and UBC radio broadcasts week of March 3, 2025. The first of a new series at Lubumba Community Church studying God's biblical family unit. A recent study in Uganda on fatherhood found that 10% of Ugandan fathers have fathered a child they don't know exists, 40% have fathered children and then abandoned them, 45% of fathers provide material necessities for their children but don't connect with them emotionally or seek to raise them. The study stated that only 5% of fathers both provide for their children and connect emotionally with them. The brokenness of families around the world is staggering. What is the church's role in redeeming this corruption? We hope to engage these issues calling for conviction, repentance, and redemption for all people by turning to the Lord Jesus Christ.
