Description

Hey ecofictologists and welcome to episode 31 of the Ecofictology podcast! For the next couple of episodes, I wanted to dedicate time to exploring the power of storytelling in conservation and the representation of conservation in ecofiction. This is something that is very close to my heart and something I would love to see get more attention in the genre! I approach my research from a conservation perspective or at least a sustainable management perspective where possible and I started to notice that some of my favourite ecofiction titles were focused around conservation issues so maybe there was a bit of catharsis around seeing my fears reflected on the page. So anyway, this monday’s minisode is a bit of an exploration of that. This is an archived episode from my youtube channel so if you prefer the visual medium, you can find the link in the shownotes. I hope you enjoy
