As an Immigration Resettlement Counselor, our guest worked tirelessly to support immigrants seeking refuge and a fresh start. Having personally experienced the terrors of war as an immigrant from Afghanistan, our guest’s passion for justice and human
rights is deeply rooted in her own journey. In 2022, she exhibited remarkable courage by returning to Afghanistan during the ongoing conflict. Motivated by a strong desire to witness the situation firsthand, she became an advocate for restoring democracy and freedom back in Afghanistan. Her focus lies on
empowering Afghans to reclaim their human rights and liberties, while also striving to facilitate education opportunities for young girls who are deprived of schooling due to the Taliban-controlled government. As a staunch supporter of the Afghan Resistance in their fight against terrorism, She firmly believes that by working together with Congress, Vets4NRF can garner the necessary
support to aid their cause and contribute to the restoration of freedom in Afghanistan. She envisions a mutually beneficial relationship between Afghanistan and the United States, forging a path toward a brighter future for both nations.
