212 Days of podcasting lets move a train… Got Steam?
In the context of moving a train, the difference between 211 and 212 degrees is seemingly small, yet it's that extra degree that turns water into steam, creating the energy needed to move the train forward. Similarly, in our walk with Christ, sometimes a small extra effort, a little more dedication, or going that one step further can bring about significant transformation and momentum in our spiritual growth and impact.
Applying this analogy to my 212 straight days of podcasting, is a reflection of how dedicating myself consistently and passionately can bring about remarkable results. Just as the extra degree of effort turns water into steam, my extra effort in podcasting has allowed me to reach new heights, touch more lives, and make a greater impact.
In this journey, I have learned to go that extra degree, to push beyond the norm, and to dedicate myself fully. This aligns with my Christian journey, where the Bible encourages us to give our all for the glory of God. Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV) says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward."
This commitment and dedication to my podcasting journey can serve as a reminder of the importance of giving our best effort in all that we do, not only for personal growth but also for the advancement of God's kingdom. Just as the train needs that extra degree to move, our lives can be transformed by giving that extra effort in our relationship with Christ and in serving others.
May our continued efforts in podcasting and our walk with Christ be blessed family, and may we continue to inspire and impact those who engage with our work.
All Prayed Up:
Dear Heavenly Father,
In the grand tapestry of life, You are the Master Weaver, orchestrating each thread with purpose and precision. Just as at 212 degrees water transforms into steam, may our lives be transformed by Your refining fire.
Lord, at times we feel full, but You remind us that You have more to pour into us. You keep us filled with Your grace, love, and strength so that we may continue to walk, and even run, this journey with unwavering zeal for Your kingdom.
Like steam powering a locomotive, You propel us forward on paths known and unknown. With each step, may we move in harmony with Your divine agenda, trusting that the 1 extra degree of effort can open doors we never imagined. In Your hands, the small things we do become part of a grander purpose.
Help us remember that pushing forward is not solely our responsibility. You are the Source of our strength, the Navigator of our path, and the Keeper of our souls. As we pour ourselves into the work of Your kingdom, may we be constantly filled and refreshed by Your presence.
Use us, Lord, until we are “All Used uUp.” We surrender our aspirations, our fears, and our limitations to You. Just as steam moves a train, may Your Spirit move within us, igniting our passion, leading us forward, and enabling us to accomplish great things for Your glory.
With each challenge and triumph, remind us that our purpose is to reflect Your light, love, and truth. Keep our hearts aligned with Your will, and may our lives be a symphony of service, resounding in honor of Your name.
We thank You for the opportunity to be vessels of Your grace and vehicles for Your mission. In every moment, may we keep it pushing, driven by Your unfailing love and empowered by Your boundless grace.
