easy - achieved without great effort; presenting few difficulties free from worries or problems-19 occurrences in the Bible
In the context of our walk with Christ, the word "EASY" can serve as a reminder of how we can trust in God's ease and grace. Here's a list of ways to remind ourselves to be "EASY" and trust in God's easy:
- Embrace Faith: Embrace a strong faith in God's promises and His ability to handle any situation, knowing that He has a plan for us.
- Abandon Anxiety: Let go of anxiety and worry, surrendering our concerns to God, trusting that He cares for us.
- Seek His Will: Continually seek God's will through prayer and reading His Word, knowing that He will guide our steps.
- Yield to His Timing: Recognize that God's timing is perfect, and be patient, understanding that His plans may not align with our own.
- Empty Yourself: Surrender our own desires and agendas, making room for God to work in our lives.
- Acknowledge His Sovereignty: Acknowledge that God is in control of all things and trust His wisdom and knowledge.
- Seek His Presence: Cultivate a relationship with God through prayer, worship, and spending time in His presence.
- Yield to His Strength: Rely on God's strength in times of weakness, knowing that He will carry us through challenges.
- Bonus:
- Express Gratitude: Maintain a heart of thankfulness, remembering God's faithfulness in the past.
- Submit to His Ways: Submit our will to God's will, recognizing that His ways are higher and better than our own.
By keeping these principles in mind and staying connected to God through prayer and the study of His Word, we can remind ourselves to be "EASY" and trust in God's easy, knowing that He is in control and will guide us through both the easy and challenging times in our walk with Christ.
