Hey Family!
I love the different versions of the Bible and suggest that you find one that speaks to you and that you can understand I find that some folks don’t get after reading the Bible because they may have grown up on the KJV and find the language a bit difficult to retain and understand. Today our language is a bit more relaxed clearly and with that being said get the WORD as long as it is the WORD in the way that you can receive from it. I have included a few different versions of the same scripture Luke 1:20 and the KJV is a bit harsh it says,“And, behold, thou shalt be dumb,” I mean today that language might get you “Cancelled” let’s be honest we are a bit more warm and fuzzy than to simply spout out “You Dumb!” I think you get my point!
Luke 1:19-20
19 And speaking to him, the angel declared, “I am Gabriel, the one standing in God’s presence. I was commissioned to tell you and proclaim to you this good news. TLV
20 So look, you will be silent and powerless to speak until the day these things happen, since you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their time.” - TLV
So clearly sometimes the Lord will Shut our Mouths to save us from Speaking Negative words and I Thank Him for that please Shut my Mouth Lord from uttering ANY Negative Words over me or Others in the name of Jesus Amen!
