Point To Ponder

In Celebration of Women’s History Month we Celebrate Mary today as she teaches us a very VALuable Lesson Family. 

But Mary treasured all these things, giving careful thought to them and pondering them in her heart. - Luke 2:19

God does not want us to reason and try to figure out everything in life. But He does want us to Ponder the things He does in our lives, as Mary did. We can tell when we have moved from Pondering to reasoning by the confusion we experience. If we are confused, we are not Pondering in our heart; we are reasoning in our mind.

• Jesus’ Birth in Bethlehem - Then suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host (angelic army) praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest [heaven], And on earth peace among men with whom He is well-pleased.” Luke 2:13-14 AMP (And of course on the eighth day the circumcision) 
• Jesus Presented at the Temple - Simeon took Him into his arms, and blessed and praised and thanked God, and said, “Now, Lord You are releasing Your bond-servant to leave [this world] in peace, According to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your Salvation, Which You have prepared in the presence of all peoples, A LIGHT FOR REVELATION TO THE GENTILES - Luke 2:28-32 AMP 
• The Boy Jesus at the Temple - “Why were you searching for me?” He asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” - Luke 2:49 NIV
