God Is the Source of Wisdom
All Prayed Up:
Heavenly Father,
With reverence and humility, we approach your presence, recognizing the profound truth contained in Proverbs 21 about the power of our words. Lord, we acknowledge that our mouths and tongues hold great influence over our lives and the lives of those around us.
We ask for your guidance and strength to guard our mouths and tongues. Help us to choose our words wisely, knowing that they have the potential to bring either blessings or calamity. May our speech be a reflection of your love, grace, and wisdom.
Lord, create within us a heart that seeks to build up rather than tear down. Teach us to use our words to encourage, inspire, and uplift others. Let kindness be the mark of our speech, and let our words be a source of healing and comfort to those in need.
Grant us the humility to admit when we have spoken in haste or anger. Help us to be quick to seek forgiveness and reconciliation when our words have caused harm. May we extend grace to others when they stumble with their speech, just as you have extended grace to us.
Lord, set a guard over our lips, that we may refrain from gossip, slander, and hurtful speech. Let our conversations be characterized by truth, honesty, and love. May our words be a reflection of the transformation that your Spirit is working within us.
As we navigate the complexities of human interaction, remind us of the weight our words carry. Help us to communicate with empathy and understanding, to listen with intention, and to respond with grace. In every situation, may our speech honor you and reflect the light of your presence within us.
Lord, in our pursuit of growth and righteousness, we ask for your ongoing transformation of our hearts and minds. May the words we speak be pleasing to you, bringing glory to your name and contributing to a world filled with love, compassion, and unity.
We offer this prayer, seeking your guidance and strength to keep our mouths and tongues from calamity. Let our speech be a testament to your wisdom and grace, and may it be a source of blessing to all who hear it.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
