A Psalm of David

1The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,

the world, and all who live in it;

2for he founded it on the seas

and established it on the waters.

3Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?

Who may stand in his holy place?

4The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,

who does not trust in an idol

or swear by a false god.

5They will receive blessing from the Lord

and vindication from God their Savior.

6Such is the generation of those who seek him,

who seek your face, God of Jacob.

7Lift up your heads, you gates;

be lifted up, you ancient doors,

that the King of glory may come in.

8Who is this King of glory?

The Lord strong and mighty,

the Lord mighty in battle.

9Lift up your heads, you gates;

lift them up, you ancient doors,

that the King of glory may come in.

10Who is he, this King of glory?

The Lord Almighty—

he is the King of glory.

All Prayed Up:

Gracious and Almighty Father,

As we gather before Your presence, we come with hearts full of awe and reverence, acknowledging that the earth and everything in it belong to You. You are the Creator of all, the One who established the foundations of the world and set the stars in their places.

Psalm 24 declares, "The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. For he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters."

Lord, we recognize Your sovereignty over all creation. You are the King of glory, strong and mighty, and You invite us into Your holy presence. As we stand before You, we seek to cleanse our hearts and hands, desiring to draw near to the God of Jacob.

In this moment of prayer, we remember that You are the God who moves mountains. Just as You established the world's foundations, You have the power to reshape circumstances and bring about incredible change. As we lift our voices, we bring before You the mountains of challenges, doubts, and obstacles that we face.

May the mountains of fear crumble in the face of Your unwavering love. Let the mountains of division be leveled by the unity found in Christ. And as we intercede for the Body of Christ, we ask that You move the mountains that hinder the spread of Your Gospel and the growth of Your kingdom.

Fill us with a holy boldness to step forward, believing that You can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. Teach us to walk in humility and righteousness, knowing that those who seek Your face will receive blessings and vindication from Your hand.

Empower us, Lord, to be a generation that seeks Your face above all else. Let our lives reflect Your glory, and may our prayers, like incense, rise before Your throne. As we trust in You, we believe that the mountains that stand in our way will be made low and the valleys lifted up.

We declare that You are the King of glory, strong and mighty to save. With hearts of faith, we ask that You move mountains for Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom.

In the name of Jesus, the Name above all names, we pray.

Amen.
