Speak Well of Your Enemies

As we prepare for Christ Resurrection Jesus provided another Beautiful lesson on the Cross “Speak Well of Your Enemies” 

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” - Luke 23:34

Jesus said to him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” - Luke 23:43 (Another example of Forgiveness to those that did not deserve Forgiveness) 

“Bless and show kindness to those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” - Luke 6:28 

This means “To Speak Well of Your Enemies” we have a choice Family we can Choose to speak well when someone hurts us, I understand it’s probably the last thing you want or feel like doing however, it is a mark of Spiritual Maturity Family. It puts you on the road less traveled where there are no traffic jams the road Jesus Himself traveled even on the Cross. 

Family we line up Blessings in our Own Lives when we Speak Life and Forgive our Enemies it also shows our willingness to Obey God. 

Remember the Golden Rule 2.0 Momma always said, “If your don’t have anything Nice to say don’t say Anything at All.” What a wonderful world we would have Family if we all followed this rule To Say Something good or don’t say anything at all. It might feel like Heaven on Earth. 

36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. - Matthew 12:36 

It starts with our Thoughts Family what we Think we Say. 

8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. - Philippians 4:8 NIV 

8 Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God,

4:8 The Aramaic can be translated “acts of glorification.”

praising him always. - Philippians 4:8 TPT 

Dear Lord, we ask that You forgive us for the nasty things we have said about others and for allowing those thoughts to fill our minds. We know we cannot make ourselves more loving however, You can Righteous Father! Please Lord help us focus on healthy, positive thoughts in Jesus Name Amen!
