This episode is an intro to a mini series on addiction. I live in a city where so many people are in a vicious battle with addiction to the point of being homeless and sleep on the ground. Someone very close to me is battling addiction and I have been silent about it for too long. In this episode I give tips for family members who love someone who is in active addiction. My intention is to bring awareness and to let people know they are not alone. Whether you are an addict, in recovery, 10 years sober, or loving someone who is experiencing active addiction - this episode is for you. As I continue to do my research and meet or talk with people who have experience with addiction, I will be creating more episodes.
