Fitness has become a lifestyle for me.It’s more than just reaching a body goal. It’s more than what it does for me physically. Lifting weights, hitting PRs, it’s something that’s just for me. I’m not competing with anyone anymore. Fitness has been a foundation for loving myself. For challenging myself. For pushing myself past the limitations I used to have. It has helped me breakdown mental ceilings I placed on myself. Fitness has changed my life. Working out has become a form of therapy for me. This lifestyle has shown me that I can love my body in every form it takes. When I’m a bit skinnier than I’d like, when I have more fat in certain areas and not enough in others, when I start to see real muscle progress in ways that I wasn’t sure I could achieve. The journey to loving myself for who I am internally and externally has been amazing, to know yourself enough to love all the parts of who you are - this allows you to stand confidentially in your power.
