One month after Donald Trump did the unbelievable, and won the 2016 election, which Hilary Clinton had in the bag, the New York Times published an editorial warning about the danger that he posed to the country. It said that the saviour of the American civilisation now depended on the media organisations:
“that report fact without regard for partisanship, and citizens who think for themselves, will need to light the way.”
If the impartial observer of that pious editorial realised that 91% of the readers of the New York Times identified as Democrats, would they believe what was said about saving democracy?
