This week we are kicking off the 30th Austin Film Festival. It’s going to be a great time and the Austin Film Festival is where you want to be this weekend if you’re looking to learn about screenwriting, filmmaking and take in some awesome panel discussions and see some terrific films. And with that said we are talking today with Richard Dane Scott. Richard is a panelist this year at the Austin Film Festival, he is a screenwriter known for the family films My Dog the Champion (2013), The Adventures of Pepper and Paula (2015), and The Conway Curve (2017). He is currently a staff writer on the TV series 5th Ward (2018- ) and has been a 3-time Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Nicholl's Fellowship Finalist.
