The Marmalade Show - E2
Welcome back to the second episode of The Marmalade Show! In this episode, Brandon talks with Swedish-born funk, soul, and RnB extraordinaire, Loria Boban. Join them in a conversation on identity, culture shocks, and their shared experiences with the recorder. Loria Boban moved to London nearly 10 years ago to pursue her passion for music. Since she was young, her identity was always challenged. Loria moves through life with a passion for making a difference in communities that need help because of traumatic world situations. Loria has made her own mark on stage with her new-wave "funky-soul" sound, which blends together elements of R&B, Soul, and Funk. Her music is raw and heavy on lyrics, which has earned her the opportunity to perform at some of London's most prestigious venues, including the Jazz Café, Ronnie Scott's, The Water Rats, Hootananny Brixton, and O2 Shepherds Bush Empire. With her unique and captivating style, it's no wonder that Loria Boban is quickly becoming a sought-after artist in the music scene.
