We sit down with two members of the marching arts community as they share how compounding failures in leadership, both organizationally and by fellow members, have pushed them away from the activity. In this first interview, we hear how specific organizational and staff-related issues contribute to concerns over safety and wellbeing, and what happens when support systems are not present.
